Supermarket Shopping
All of our supermarkets in Cambridge are open for business. Each supermarket will have their own Health and Safety Policy, so please respect this! Let's keep everyone safe, together.
REMEMBER TO:
#shopnormal - please shop like you normally would and remember this no need to stockpile.
Be kind - With everything else happening in the world aside, let's continue to be kind and considerate towards other shoppers, staff and one another.
Please know that our food supply chain is robust. The supermarkets are working hard to ensure all the grocery items New Zealand households might need are on the shelf and readily available. Together we've got this.

Price-gouging tipline
Kiwis concerned about potential price gouging at supermarkets during the coronavirus lockdown can now report the issue directly to government officials.
Government does not want any companies to exploit the Covid-19 situation, and has broadened the criteria for "essential services" to cover goods like heaters, fridges and computers.
Government officials had been in daily contact with the major supermarket chains and had found no evidence to support claims of gouging.
However, a dedicated email address - pricewatch@mbie.govt.nz - had been set up by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) so the public could report any cases of concern.
Local newspapers
Local newspapers have been deemed as non-essential, however they’re still publishing, online!
