Our Neighbourhood Support members like to share their neighbourhood stories. Recently a caring neighbour in Cambridge East who spends a lot of time at home noticed that her neighbour’s window and shed door were wide open. She knew that her neighbour was away at work and that this was unusual. Thinking that the house may be being burgled, she took a tentative look around but not seeing anyone took the precaution of phoning 111. The Police arrived quickly. They checked the house and contacted the owner at work. All was well and the house owner was very happy that his neighbour took action to secure his property!
