Patrollers Benefit from Road Safety Workshop

Road Safety - Learning over Coffee

Community Patrollers recently enjoyed a fantastic coffee catch-up with special guest Megan Jolly, Road Safety Specialist contracted to Waipā District Council.

Megan shared a range of interesting road safety insights as well as practical tips that are relevant to both everyday road users and Community Patrollers. The highlight of the session was an engaging road safety quiz, which gave attendees the opportunity to test their knowledge while having some fun along the way.

Everyone enjoyed the session and left with refreshed knowledge. Opportunities like this are incredibly valuable for our volunteers, helping them to stay informed and confident in their roles.

Cambridge Community Patrol plays an integral part in our community and is often called upon to assist with traffic management so ensuring our patrollers have access to ongoing learning and development opportunities helps them continue to serve the community safely and effectively.

A big thank you to Megan for taking the time to join us and share her expertise. We greatly appreciate her support and the valuable contribution she made to our volunteers.
